Composite Wrapped CylinderTesting
TKS provides visual, hydrostatic, ultrasonic, strain gaging, and acoustic emission testing of composite-wrapped steel cylinders for compressed natural gas (CNG) storage. Inspections detect wall thinning, corrosion, and fatigue cracks in the steel cylinders, as well as impact damage, fatigue damage, delaminations, and fiber breaks in the composite overwrap.
